Lisa Terschl-Dajani has studied all styles of dance since the age of four, and has been a Picture Us Different Dance Company member since the start of the group! She has taught and choreographed at various schools throughout Chicago, and is going on her 29th year teaching at Picture Us Different Dance Studio, Inc. She had the great opportunity to perform at the 2005-2006 MTV Video Music Awards after party for Usher, and is a principal dancer for "Irwin Productions" based out of San Diego, with whom she has the opportunity to perform in various productions across the country.

Lisa was a Wolves Dancer for the Chicago Wolves IHL Hockey team during the 1994-95 season. She had the opportunity to perform not only at the Rosemont Horizon, but at many promotional and charity functions including the Special Olympics held in Galena. She was a Chicago "LUV-A-BULL" during the Bulls 1997-1998 season when she had the opportunity to perform at the United Center and to travel throughout the U.S. performing and making personal appearances representing the Chicago Bulls organization. Lisa was very excited about being a part of the Bulls 6th National Championship! Lisa also choreographed for the “Chicago Bulls Matadors” - who are a crowd favorite!

Lisa studied dance and drama at the Franklin Fine Arts Academy and received scholarships to continue studying at the Chicago Academy for the Arts. She has studied Jazz, Tap, Classical and Lyrical Ballet, and Modern dance with faculty from the Hubbard Street Dance Company, Gus Giordano, Janet Jackson's choreographer Barry Lather, and various artists from LA. She also received a scholarship to study exclusively with Homer Bryant.

Lisa danced for the National Mayor's Conference held in Chicago and was featured in commercials for the Chicago Performing Arts Schools. She was a dancer for pop acts Jamie Loring, The Rebel Youth Mob, and Boxoroxx. She was also a dance scholarship student at Northeastern Illinois University during her college years.

In the past few years, Lisa has continued to pursue her professional dance career appearing in the debut video for upcoming artist Kim Keller's single, as well as performing for the hit 80's cover band "LOVERBOY" in their various concerts held in Chicago. Lisa was given the position of "Dance Captain" as well as assisting with choreography duties while she was a dancer for the "Club Chameleon" at Joliet's Empress Casino. There she performed "Bob Fosse" style routines. In the past, Lisa was offered the position of choreographer for both the "Chicago Rush" and "Chicago Skyliners" dance teams, as well as a contract to be principal performer in a Las Vegas show for Chameleon Studios.

Lisa is currently a judge for UDA and IHSA, and also judges various dance auditions throughout the state, including Chicago LUV-A-BULL auditions. Lisa continues to work with various high school dance teams as a style and strengthening coach, and if time permits, choreography as well.

Believe it or not, Lisa still finds time in her busy schedule to have an exciting real estate career as one of @properties’ most in-demand realtors! She is looking forward to another busy but exciting year, and feels very fortunate to have not only the opportunity to teach her students all the technique they need to become a great dancer, but also how to be a true entertainer!
